Change to Management Board of Müller+Blanck


The Management Board of Navis, part of Cargotec, has appointed Rainer Hartmann as Managing Director of the Müller+Blanck, part of INTERSCHALT which have been acquired by Navis/Cargotec in January 2016, with effect from October 6, 2016. As Managing Director, he succeeds Holger Blanck and Torben Mons, who step down from their positions at the end of September by way of agreement.

Rainer Hartmann has been active as Vice President Software Technology at INTERSCHALT since the acquisition of Seacos GmbH in 2006, and has more than 35 years of experience as software developer as well as manager of small- and medium-sized companies in the maritime industry predominately in the software sector.

In his additional role as Managing Director Rainer Hartmann will act as the supervisor for the integration of Müller+Blanck into INTERSCHALT / Navis and will strengthen the continuous development of the software solutions for stowage planning of container vessels for our successful partnerships with the maritime industry.
